Story
In 2010, the architect Marek Štěpán was approached with an offer to present one of his projects during Architecture Week in Prague. He decided to present Freedomky, on which he was then working, together with the author of the idea, the goldsmith and jewel designer Jiří Brosch. He described his idea as comfortable living with almost no bills. The presentation of Freedomky on Prague's Wenceslas Square became a big hit for the public and also the professional community. The success of Freedomky lies in the innovative concept of ecological and economical living, with an emphasis on design, style purity and practicality. The presented Freedomky was created in an unbelievable time horizon of 3 months, and that's counting from the initial idea to the actual building set up in Prague. The public and experts were impressed by its great look, ingenious and quality accomplishment and especially by the ability of Freedomky to be set up anywhere and liveable right away.
750,000 people visited the Freedomky website within the first 10 days of its existence; which even beat a server with naked celebrities at that time. :-)
